16-19 Bursary 2024-2025

The Student Bursary Fund aims to support students enrolled at Mirfield College who face the greatest financial barriers to learning. If you fall into one of the groups listed below, you may be able to benefit from the scheme.
Finance table
The government’s limited bursary funds are intended to help students attend and succeed in their chosen studies. To qualify for a bursary, students must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Education Funding Agency, detailed at www.gov.uk/1619-bursary-fund, and outlined in the Mirfield Sixth Form College 16-19 Bursary Student Guide 2024/2025.
Bursaries are only available during term time and are awarded based on individual need, the number of applications received, and the funds available. Support is provided solely where a genuine financial need is demonstrated, and not all applications will be successful.
